Tyndýk, an upcoming short film by Franz Walter, follows four-time Ice Climbing World Champion (and Arc'athlete) Ines Papert and her eleven-year-old son, Manu, on a late-summer trip through Kyrgyzstan for a second attempt at the previously-unclimbed southwest face of Kyzyl Asker. It draws on the breathtaking landscape and Manu's own travel journal to create a beautiful meditation on themes of home, travel, and curiosity.
