Natalie recently posted a few photos on our Facebook page and we instantly loved them, with Lake Huron in the background looking like a foreboding Arctic sea. And so, we got in touch to see if she could send us some more and tell us a bit about her expedition.

Natalie's a Toronto-based aerospace engineer with a love of travel and adventure. She's driven a solar-powered car across North America, skydived with Korea's first astronaut, has a pilot's license, and is currently doing robotics analysis for the International Space Station. Wow, that's quite the LinkedIn profile!

She is always looking for an excuse to get out of the city, and a winter camping weekend in Bruce Peninsula National Park on the Georgian Bay sounded perfect. As you can see from the photos, the snow was plentiful, the waters choppy, and the open horizon went on for miles.

"My Stingray jacket and pants were perfect for breaking trail through the knee-deep snow, and my Strato Hoody kept me extra warm as an added baselayer, camping on the shores of the bay. We are so lucky across Canada to have a huge gateway to adventure, and national treasures just waiting for us to come and play."
