A Perfect Score
In the latest issue of Outdoor Fitness Magazine, our Incendo Jacket scored a perfect 10/10 in their running jacket gear test, described as being "super light" with "good ventilation" and "flexible construction".
The article does misquote the Incendo as being waterproof, and what they wanted to say was water-resistant. For example, our Visio FL Jacket is waterproof, and here's how you can tell the difference:
- - Our waterproof garments are seam-sealed (look for thin strips of tape on the inside of the garment).
- - The jacket design incorporates elements such as zipper garages that channel water away from points of entry.
- - The hangtag clearly states that the garment uses a waterproof/breathable textile.
That the Incendo performed like a waterproof jacket in the Outdoor Fitness tests is testimony to the premium quality of our materials and meticulous construction. The Incendo Jacket uses Luminara™ fabric, a lightweight shell treated with DWR (durable water repellency), an extremely effective and long lasting water-resistant finish.
A big THANK YOU to the folks at Outdoor Fitness. We couldn't be more proud of the perfect score!
